The Christian Humanist episodes
- Episode 01: Too much Morality!
Hello Everyone. Welcome to the New Humanist Podcast. I am Damian.
This is the first episode. The topic, to start things out, is on the problem with religion (notably Christianity). In relation to its overt moralistic focus.
- Why have religions become so preoccupied with the moral aspect of life?
- Why this singular concern with what a person chooses to do with his/her personal life?
- Why has Christianity become such a, seemingly oppressive force in the West?
- Why is it difficult for people, especially young persons, to develop a positive view of the idea of faith, and its role as an enriching force in life?
Tough questions.
Which require comprehensive answers. This episode is an attempt to make better sense of these. Whilst arguing for a more person centric presentation of religious belief.

Hello Everyone. Welcome to the Christian Humanist Podcast. I am Damian.
If you're interested in culture, religion, history, liberty, society, and above all humanity, then you are in the right place. The focus here is on the intersection between these realities, and how they pertain to questions that affect you and me: The minds who are left to live in this challenging but promising, tough but rewarding world. One that is ever-changing.
