Throughout our time in the Gospel of Mark, we have been focusing on our involvement in the Kingdom of God. In Mark 12, we will deal with issues of the heart. What is our motivation for being Christian? Are we in it for ourselves? For what we can get out of it? Or are we believers because of Him? Our heart not only determines our actions, but also our destiny.

Throughout our time in the Gospel of Mark, we have been focusing on our involvement in the Kingdom of God. For us, this means, "do we have faith in God or a religious system?" Is our heart a "house of prayer" or a "den of thieves?" Jesus will curse religion to never bear fruit. In a season of darkness, we must make a decision; to have faith in God and overcome this religious spirit or succumb to it and carry the fate of never having fruit for the sake of looking good.

Throughout our time in the Gospel of Mark, we have been focusing on our involvement in the Kingdom of God. Today. we will see how to break bondages in our. Specifically, we will also see how a religious spirit prevents us from seeking or obtaining this freedom that Jesus seeks to give us.

Our focus is with the Gospel of Mark, chapter 9. This week pick's up on the end of the teaching on chapter 8. Our unbelief (and struggles with it) drive our "religiousness".  If left unchecked, the "religiousness" causes us to take our eyes off of Jesus and hurt other believers in their walk. But Jesus again, shows us the way. We can "frustrate religion" and walk with Jesus.

Our focus is with the Gospel of Mark, chapter 8. Have you ever wrestled with yourself about your faith? Ever had doubts? In chapter 8, we are going to see Jesus take on unbelief; In Pharisees, in people, even with his own disciples. How did He deal with it? More importantly, how did He tell us to deal with it?

Our focus is with the Gospel of Mark, chapter 7. What really defiles a person? We dive into how religion can try to put people in bondage, but Jesus is trying to free us to the truth. Let's find out the truth from what really defiles a person and how Jesus has come to heal and set us free. 

Our focus is with the Gospel of Mark, chapter 6. Are you enslaved to demonic thinking? Today, many people are enslaved to materialism and humanistic thinking. Jesus is breaking down such strongholds. Let's discover how this looked in Mark's gospel and apply Jesus' delivering power to our lives.
