Understanding God's word is important for spiritual growth, knowing God's will and fighting the enemy attacks. Many believers are being deceived because they don't take time to read and understand God's word . While the enemy is taking God's word and twisted it to satisfy people's lustful desires.

It is important for us to know God's word for ourselves. Sunday morning is not going to cut it if you what to grow in knowledge. There are many false teachers today, people who once walked with God and turned towards their own lustful desires. To be strong in God is to have strong faith but the devil is attacking our faith through so many different channels. Jesus resisted the devil because he knew the word but the devil knew it to and twisted it. In ordered for us to resist we must know study God's word!
