This week I had the opportunity to sit down with Pastor Greg Lindsey, a trial attorney turned church planter who has been the lead pastor of Discovery Church in Colorado Springs for over fifteen years. He is also one of the founding leaders of COSILoveYou, a Colorado Springs-based organization committed to uniting and igniting the local church in love for the city. Greg and his wife, Stacy, have been married forty years and have four daughters and nine grandkids.

He just recently released his book, The Rest of Your Story: The Path to the Christian Life You Want ! Our conversation has so many amazing take aways and I listed just a few below... but can I tell you one thing... go get this book! It will bless you!!

• People have left Jesus and been in religion
• We can’t believe or behave our way to the life we want
• We understand the significance of our sins but we don’t have adequate context about our stories
• Jesus came to rescue us
• We live forgiven because of what Jesus did on the cross, but do we live today like it matters?
• Sin isn’t the win for Satan
• Be aware of the Devil’s schemes
• The enemy is after your identity
• We need to live as if we need saved every day from sin, because we do!
• Invite Jesus back into those hurt moments & see how God sees you in them not what you see
• Don’t diminish your story because of someone else’s
• What is the theme of lies the enemy is using against you to go after your identity?
• You can’t win a battle you don’t believe exists
