Who is Kat Von D? If you grew up watching cable at any time in the early 2000s-2010s, this is no mystery. She is the cool, gothic-dressing tattoo artist from Miami Ink and LA Ink. She is an icon for people of the underground.

In the past month or so, she has come out very publicly talking about her faith in Jesus, and her baptism video she posted on Instagram.

Her change has sent waves through the culture. While many people were extremely happy for her in her decision, there were undoubtedly trolls that would appear and give her grief.

The problem? Most of those trolls are Christians!!! (Maybe I should say, "Christians?")

This has stirred up some much needed discussion about synchretism in the broader church culture, and a need for many ill-informed Christians to confront their reality- Do these, so-called, Christians truly believe in unity in diversity as Christ told them to live?

Humans can be overwhelmingly evil. Governments are there finest weaponry all molded into one statue of evil.

In the last two months, we have witnessed one of, if not the most, horrific mass fires in modern history. Not only was there massive death (not being reported or, apparently, counted at all), but there is also the issue of the very real possibility that these fires were intentional.

Where are we talking about?: Maui, Hawaii.

This is not a new concept to anyone. We all know about this tragedy. However, we rarely realize the great lengths to which our governments and global oligarchy (essentially world wide fascism, by definition) are willing to go to procure whatever they want and desire.In this case, what they want happens to be the most sacred thing of all to all Aloha peoples- THEIR LAND.
