Immediately going to the quote from good old Teddy Roosevelt who said "comparison is the thief of joy." That's all over Pinterest and Instagram in these cute little graphics or motivating messages. But that statement rings very true for many, many reasons. It's because we're focusing on what we don't have rather than what we do have, and that ultimately leads to dissatisfaction within our lives.

If we were able to flip a switch where we wouldn't hold ourselves back from this fixed mindset of I can't, or I'll never be as good enough to a growth mindset. If we could just flip that switch to the place where we open ourselves up to the opportunity of growth. We recognize that there are so many things around us that can empower us and motivate us. So I'd love for you to think about for a moment, the importance of setting intentions.
