Mike Lucas moved to Australia from the UK in 2010. He is the author of several poetry anthologies and picture books, He owns a bookshop, Shakespeare's in Blackwood, South Australia.

 

In 2017 and 2022 he was one of the main organisers of the Adelaide Festival of Children's Books. With all of this, he has very little time to sleep, but often thinks up a poem or two while he does. So everybody please give a big Christmas cheer for the amazing, Mike Lucas.
