The first Sunday of 2018 brings a new series, "A Living Hope". This series will walk us through the New Testament book of 1 Peter. In this first sermon, Pastor Stan brings the message from 1 Peter 1:1-5. This text gives us reassurance that hopelessness is not permanent. God is aware of our circumstances and He is equipping us to endure. 

Rushing Mayes brings the message entitled, "Behold the Lamb!" What does it mean to cherish the sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the Cross? We see through John 1:29 and other selected passages that we must make a priority in our life to recognize the full weight of the sacrifice of Jesus. 

Week 2 of our Advent series - "Behold!" This week, we walk through Matthew 3:16-17 and Isaiah 11:1-5 and investigate further the purpose for Jesus' coming as the Beloved Son. When we behold Jesus, we are called into one story. Jesus gives us stability in every relationship, both spiritual and personal, as we follow His leadership.

This week, Pastor Stan begins a series for the Advent season entitled, "Behold!" This series will walk us through 4 roles of Jesus in His first coming. To behold means, "to look upon or observe, particularly something remarkable or impressive." During this sermon, we look at Luke 2 and the shepherds as they observed the infant Jesus. 

The final week of our Apostles Creed series deals with the final phrase of the Creed, "I believe in the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting." We must follow the directions given to us by the Lord in order to take hold of His promises. 

"I believe in the holy catholic church, the communion of saints." How should we base our beliefs about the church? This week, we examine ecclesiology and how God is using the Church to accomplish HIs plans in the world.

This week, we look at the phrase "I believe in the Holy Spirit." What does the Bible say about the Holy Spirit and how do we live our lives in light of these truths?

Week 6 of our Apostles Creed series walks through the phrase, "From there, He will return to judge the quick and the dead." What does judgment look like and what does the Bible teach about it?

Pastor Stan preaches through 1 Peter 3:18-22 discussing the resurrection and ascension of Jesus. 

Pastor Stan Britton brings the message from Genesis 22 and Luke 23 concerning Jesus' suffering, crucifixion, burial and death. Believers must reframe the way they view death in light of the death of Christ.
