Christmas at Montgomery | Aaron Laird |
I’ve often wondered what the angels thought as they watched the creation of the world. I imagine they praised and glorified Him as He spoke all things into existence. But then, sin entered the world. I can only imagine their concern. Over the centuries, as God’s plan began to unfold, they watched intently — witnessing the stories of Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David and, ultimately, Jesus Christ, the Messiah. With the Advent of Christ, the angels finally began to understand: God was saving His creation once and for all! Then, unable to hold back their joy, they went to the shepherds, proclaiming, “Glory to God in the highest! And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” From the very beginning, the song of our redemption has been sung, declaring God’s supernatural plan for hope, peace, joy and love for His creation. This Christmas season, we will “repeat the sounding joy” at all TWMC campuses. Merry Christmas! Christ has come!
