My guest for this episode probably knows "The Church of Saint Angelo" as well as anyone-- Ted Nolan grew up on Garden River Reserve, just east of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Ted played for the Soo Greyhounds from 1976 to 1978. He went on to coach the Greyhounds from 1988 to 1995.  He later won the Jack Adams Trophy as the NHL's Coach of the Year with the Buffalo Sabres.  I spoke with Ted in October of 2023, just before the release of his memoir "Life in Two Worlds: a coach's journey from The Reserve to the NHL and back."

My guests for this episode are Tony Kretzschmar and Paul Dupuis, who will be heading to the Himalayas to host a hockey tournament in Leh, Ladakh, India, on the third weekend of January.  The rink sits at an elevation of 4,361 meters.

It's something Tony's been doing for more than two decades now.
