The Vision ... For An Appointed Time. God has a purpose and a plan for you already laid out. Maybe you are an artist, a songwriter, or an author and feel that as much as you try you cannot get the notice you believe you should for your gift. Never stop believing in your dream.

God has a set time, pray seek His guidance, and trust that if He blesses your vision it will come to pass in God's time, not ours.

The Meaning of The Fear Of The LORD, part 1.

First, if we truly fear the LORD, we will live a life of obedience to His commandments and say "No" to sin.

Solomon taught that "by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil". In Ecclesiastes 12:13, the whole duty of the human race is summarized in two brief imperatives: "Fear God, and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man".

Just as there is a sanctifying effect in the truth of God's Word (John 17:17), so there is a sanctifying effect in the fear of God.

If you Google the word Parable it will provide you with a simple definition: "a short simple story illustrating a moral or spiritual truth." Yes, it is a story used to illustrate a moral or spiritual life learning lesson, as told by Jesus.

This episode provides three of Jesus' Parables; The Sower, The Growing Seed, and The Mustard Seed, accompanied with commentaries.

NOTE THIS! Full Life Bible Commentary states: "Picking up snakes or drinking poison is not to be ritualized and made into a "trial by ordeal" in order to prove one's spirituality.

These are promises given to believers who encounter such dangers in their normal work for Christ. It is a sin to "test" God by initiating unnecessary danger or trials (Mat. 4:5—7; 10:23; 24:16—8).

SIGNS OF BELIEVERS

Mark 16:17—18 "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."

Trust in the LORD and do good, for His Goodness and Mercies are extended to all who love the LORD, their God, with all their heart, mind, and soul.

Take time each day to be still and to exalt God.

Psalms 46:10 He says, "Be still, and know that I am God",

War and destruction are inevitable, but so is God's final victory.

At that time, all will stand quietly before the LORD Almighty. How proper, then, for us to be still now, reverently honoring Him and His power and Majesty.

 "In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me".  Psalm 56:4

Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. I will not fear. I will praise His Word. When the times seem to be the hardest, we must remember that God always has us.

Genesis 39:21 says, "But the LORD was with Joseph, and showed him mercy, and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison".

At some point in our lives, we may face difficulties, like Joseph. However, we must believe that our LORD Jesus is always with us and there for us.

Then there are the times when someone is out to mean us no good, yet the LORD stated in Genesis 50:20,

What might be intended as harm for you, know that your God can turn it so that the result is found in your favor.

Trust God at all times no matter what it may look like, know that He is still in control!

Focus on your mate's best qualities by writing down those things you love about him or her. If you want to build a happy marriage or improve a less-than-happy one, recall those items of importance.

Remember that love, patience, kindness, unselfishness, love for the truth, honesty, trust, and endurance in righteousness should be found in us.

Paul bottom-lines it this way: "If you love someone you will be loyal ... no matter what the cost. You will always believe in him, always expect the best of him, and always stand your ground in defending him." (1 Co. 13:7)
