John 14:26-27 (NIV) promises that the Holy Spirit (the Advocate/Helper) will be sent by the Father to teach believers all things and remind them of Jesus' words.Unlike worldly peace, which is often temporary and based on comfort, Jesus' peace is lasting and secure.

Psalm 1:1-3 (NIV) describes the "blessed" person as one who avoids wicked counsel, scoffers, and sinful paths. Instead, they delight in and meditate on the Lord’s law day and night. Such a person is likened to a tree planted by streams, producing fruit, with leaves that never wither, and prospering in all they do. 

Jesus teaches believers to pray consistently and not to lose heart. The promise of reward is for those who maintain faith and good actions. Trials offer chances to grow in character and hope. Knowing that God sustains us when our own strength fails.

Persistence, firm or obstinate continuance in a course of action despite difficulty or opposition.
