The idea was, all of us, from our parent's basements, to a rural church pulpit to a blossoming business could become known, we could get our message out on somebody else's online platform. We could tell our stories, create "followers", find customers and maybe even get famous...All for Free. But then the music stopped. And we found out it was all a myth.
