We can call abortion murder because we know a God that redeems murderers. These women do not claim to be victims but repentant children of God reconciled by the blood of Christ. Abortion is not the unforgivable sin. Often women who've had abortions do not come before the cross with Godly sorrow and a contrite heart but with a worldly sorrow that leads to death. Today pastor's often won't preach from the pulpit about the sin of abortion. Not when 1 in 4 women by the age of 40, have murdered their preborn child. How can women know the freedom from the bondage of guilt and shame unless they are repentant and acknowledge that abortion is sin, abortion is murder? There's forgiveness for the sin of abortion found in Christ alone. I had an abortion and I am #notavictim but a repentant murderer redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ.

Often times Christians will reject the notion that the Church needs to repent of her apathy regarding abortion. Many Christians take great offense to the abolitonist project, Church Repent. Is it unbiblical for faithful Christians to stand outside the church building with signs and literature, pleading with other Christians to love their preborn neighbor? Abolitionist Mike Gulley engages his Christian community often through the Church Repent project.
