The power of regeneration goes on in "used" lives. As much as we would like to imagine that the hard drive of our lives could be reformatted in salvation, the truth is that a rewriting of our lives will be the cooperative work of the Holy Spirit and our freed-up will, over time.

Easter Sunday

Jesus has provided the way back to the favor and acceptance of the Father, but the call to believe what He says and submit to His way is just as strong, personal and important for us today as it was for Adam back in the beginning.

God's revelation of Himself to us involves His triune nature; He is one God expressed in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Our growth into fully functional disciples of Jesus includes an encounter with all aspects of God's being and nature. Huge steps of freedom away from past bondages and into the fullness of God's joy and power are found as we believe in and submit to the presence and work of the Holy Spirit.

A Maturing believer is one who is in vibrant relationship with Jesus and others. When it comes to growing in relationship with Jesus, people are for that. But she it comes to the community of the believers, this is a wonderful and complicated and messy thing.

When we think about our relation to the body of Christ, we must realize that if we don't make the transition from receiving to giving, we will become increasingly unsatisfied with Church.

The "how" of conversion is explained through God's mercy and power. The "when" of conversion is unique to each person and not confined to a single event.
