Claim The Throne ‘They Shall Live On‘
Yet another awesome interview for you guys. This week we had the best time interviewing Brad Wesson about the very successful Soundworks Touring!
Brad dishes out some serious knowledge and vital advice for bands and wannabe music industry professionals alike. We had such an awesome time purely hanging out shooting the shit over beers and chicken and I think that shines through in the interview. Do try it!

Claim The Throne ‘In The Mist’
We were very lucky to catch up with a Perth recording legend in Al Smith from Bergerk! Studios.
Al Has worked with a wide variety of musical acts from all over the place including Extortion, Miles Away, Abbe May, The Devil Rides Out and of course yours truly Claim The Throne.
This was definitely an awesome interview for us; Al has really helped shape the Claim The Throne sound through his work on Aletales, Triumph And Beyond and our latest album Forged In Flame. He has a very unique and learned approach to recording, a passion that he has been able to turn into a full-time business for over a decade. He is a huge inspiration to us and we’re lucky to have him as both a friend and musical partner!
Our guest this week is Bernard Shaw, co-founder of video production company ‘Red Empire Media’, and member of Perth Melodic Death Metal bands ‘Red Descending’ and ‘Wrath Of Fenrir’.
Bernard cut his teeth making music videos for Pscroptic and The Furor before stepping up his game with our own ‘Set Sale On Ale’ clip and more recently the ultra-epic ‘Burned To Death’ clip for Red Descending. Bernard has managed to convert his hobby into a full fledged business with Red Empire Media and our chat covers not only that transition but also a hefty bunch of tips and stories from his time making clips in the local music scene.
We also have a 2nd part to this interview that will be uploaded later in the week. Our interview with Bernard ran massively into overtime when he decided to turn the questions around and managing to tell us how he thinks we should run our podcast.
