April 13th, 2022 marks the 144th anniversary of the Clarksville fire of 1878. Racial issues and post-Civil War tensions played key roles in the fire that destroyed 15 acres of downtown Clarksville. We sat with local historian, and 32-year veteran of the Clarksville Fire Department,  Randy Rubel to talk more about the fire.
