The Classic Red Green show Podcast

Today's  episode is Episode 39 - The Fish Locator

We are off on another fun adventure with Season 2 of the Red Green Show and looking at our show of the week - The Fish Locator. Will Doc sort out his fish finding problems? Will Eddie finally have some fresh fish for meals. Will Murray make a sale? We aim to find out in this action packed episode of the Red Green Show.

In our opening monologue we talk more about some of those rare memorabilia from the show that seems to outright elude most collectors and generally be an afterthought for most fans - Red's hat. Where is it? who has it? Why? When will these questions stop? The answers may just surprise you at just how close this is to being something you as a fan can see in person!

Today's  episode is Episode 38 - The Food Club

Another fun episode where everyone avoids Eddie's cooking. Of course we can't have fun without Murray trying to sell something to the Lodge members....well loosely based on what they're looking for anyway. Red has another fun handyman corner and of course we can't have an episode without Adventures with Bill.

In our opening monologue today we talk about the brilliance behind Canadian comedy of the 90s and 00s and the connections to Red Green. As a hint, this is someone who's shows have received over 100 Gemini Awards and still counting.

Today's  episode is Episode 37 - The Party Boat Sank

So we have one of our first bits of intense rivalry between some of the lodge members. Of course it would take the sinking of the party boat to really get under peoples skin at the lodge. We found out about this and much more along with the wild conclusion to this story.....in this episode!

We also dive deep into my vault of information to talk about something that is little known but amazingly wonderful for the show. We also talk about how the Possum Van and models is the gold standard for tv and movie model car builds. Its a really wild story!

Today's  episode is Episode 36 - Animals in the Attic

Back with another great episode of the Red Green Show. In this episode we have a few items of news. We also open the Male Bag for some viewer submitted letters for the first time in a long time. And we get to a riveting monologue which you are not going to want to miss about the little known way the Red Green Show made it onto TVs in the United States.....compliments of the great Jerry Trainor!

Beyond that in today's episode we have a raccoon loose in the lodge. As much as Noel and Bob want to deal with it (well maybe Bob reluctantly because it means doing something other than golf), it seems to have befriended Eddie AND be the only thing that willingly eats his cooking. Hopefully they can find a resolution before it takes over the lodge!

We pick up with a long overdue episode which also will reflec ton Steve Smith turning 80.

Beyond that in today's episode we have a brewing problem between Murray and Dwayne and Bob Stuyvesant over the sale of what may just be "hot" clubs. Hopefully they can find a resolution!

It is a more sombre episode as we recieve the news of actor and Red Green Show veteran, Graham Greene's passing. In the monologue, we look back at his career and specifically his involvement with the show to celebrate the impact he had on the shows' success.

Beyond that in today's episode we have a major problem at the lodge as the water pump is broken! While Helmut, the head of Lodge Maintenance is busy trying to fix it with duct tape and chewing gum, Murray and Dwayne attempt to sell the lodge a new one at a big profit to the disgust of Lodge Treasurer, Douglas Hendrychuck who eventually admits the Lodge account is as bone dry as the pump. Will there be a resolution?

Today's  episode is Episode 32 - The Four Man Raft

This episode is all about sailing - namely make-shift rafts that are sold as the real deal. We expect nothing less from Murray and Dwayne! We have an appearance by Glenn Braxton at his marina (although he is more interested in his RV naturally) and of course, Lodge Treasurer Douglas is up in arms over the Lodge being "tricked" on a bad purchase.

We have our news segment and our usual monologue on something that is little known to Red Green fans as well as fans of another staple of Canadianity - Corner Gas. Could these two be related? Listen on to find out.
