      https://classicaldrunks.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2017/11/EP06-Pierre-Interview.mp3

Something slightly different for today, we just received new hardware and wanted to test it out in a real life setting, so we got Pierre to come on the show and talk about his personal experience as one of the rare non-lefty arts students in France.

      They took our jobs! [bis]

Today’s podcast is a bonus segment, where we talk about better ways to regulate the influx of economic migrants.

Last week, we dwelved into the economics of immigration, but did not have the time to address that specific question.

    • The Economics of Immigration – Episode #05
      https://classicaldrunks.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2017/11/EP04-The-economics-of-immigration.mp3

They took our jobs! Did they really, though? Immigration is a really vast topic, where plenty of heated debates take place, but there are a few key points in the economics of immigration where experts tend to agree. Immigrants do not *on net* destroy jobs, the effect on wages is far exaggerated, and the burden on taxpayers has more to do with poorly drafted public services.

As stated at the beginning of the podcast, we will talk about the other aspects of immigration in future episodes, so please listen to the podcast before commenting with pictures of frogs…

      https://classicaldrunks.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2017/11/EP04-Battle-For-Number-10.mp3

Obviously, we had to talk about the upcoming British election occurring on June 8th.

As you can already guess, neither Corbyn nor May seem like delightful candidates to us, but we wanted to sit down and dive into the major questions raised by this election: Brexit, immigration, terrorism, and why people who chose to have a poor genetic mix should be left to die.

      https://classicaldrunks.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2017/11/EP02-Single-Transferable-Vote.mp3

Ireland has a quite interesting voting system, which doesn’t count votes in the same way most countries do. We sat down to talk about it, and try to shed some light on this concept.
