Mapping Doctors is an NIHR-funded multi-disciplinary research project at Lancaster University
We are exploring and mapping underdoctored areas, in particular the impact of medical training pathways on NHS workforce distribution and health inequalities. In this episode Euan Lawson and Dr Liz Brewster are joined by Michael Lambert to talk about the effect of class in underdoctoring. We also discuss widening participation and the potential implications on underdoctoring.
Note: This study is funded by the NIHR but the views expressed are those of the members of the team and are not necessarily those of the NIHR or the Department of Health and Social Care.
