Greg gets one last noir flick in before the end of the month, revisiting Sin City, while Ryan breaks down a new release with Saltburn. Then, the guys get into an interesting week of AEW. After dishing on their feelings of CM Punk re-debuting in WWE, they get into the mix of the Continental Classic, their favorite promos, and more!
Travelling outside of the world of wrestling, Greg and Ryan break down their own top ten lists celebrating "Noir"vember. They still tackle a movie a piece before diving into the seasonal list, with Greg checking out the last entry of The Guardians of the Galaxy and Ryan saw the festive new slasher, Thanksgiving. Then the guys count down their noir picks, ranging sub-genres and decades.
Greg continues his journey with Robert Loggia, checking out the 4K of Lost Highway while Ryan time travels to the early nineties and the heyday of Billy Baldwin (if such a thing exists), finally watching Backdraft. Then, the guys get into Full Gear 2023! What did and didn't work for them, what was the match of the night, and did they disagree about any of the matches? Tune in to find out!
Full Gear is upon us! After a quick trip into The Treasure of Foggy Mountain, the vehicle of new SNL skit trio Please Don't Destroy, and warning from Greg about William Lustig's Relentless, the guys dive into the announced card of Full Gear 2023 (as of 5pm on Friday night, sorry Collision and Rampage!) Predictions are made, non-dollars are bet, and WHO IS THE DEVIL?!
Before diving into a NOIRvember megasode, Ryan recaps an Al Pacino sleeper hit with Sea of Love and Greg revisits the time capsule for low-rise jeans and flip phones with The Bling Ring. Then, a look at the penultimate week before Full Gear. See how we feel about the builds to certain announced matches, hypothesizing on the identity of The Devil, and where we love to see of the midcard talent utilized.
After a couple weeks off (sorry, family death intervened), Greg and Ryan are back! Post-Halloween, they both discuss something outside of the genre, with Greg exploring Noirvember and revisiting Fincher's neo-noir classic Se7en and Ryan catching the new Coppola flick, Priscilla. Then...back into wrestling! Greg and Ryan are on opposite ends of the spectrum as far as enjoyment goes this week. See who loves the Max Caster bits and who is enjoying Roddy and his neck health diatribes. Plus, a new Rampage Round-Up, our favorite matches, and more!
With Halloween around the corner, the guys decided to take a detour into the horror genre. This week, they break down their top 10 desert island horror movies! Buckle in, they've got some doozies.
A huge thanks to Chandler Bullock for our new intro (and outro) music that we couldn't be more excited about. Fully in October, Greg takes a ride down a Stephen King road with Maxiumum Overdrive and Ryan shares thoughts on the new Halloween-fueled Dark Harvest. Then, the intro of our new promo "Clean Promo," what was the best match on Rampage, how do we feel about the title changes and more!
Greg updates us on his Scream-a-thon with Brotherhood of the Wolf while Ryan regrets watching a different movie. Then, the guys get into their thoughts and feelings on WrestleDream 2023! Did it live up to the hype? And how did they feel about the first AEW appearance of Adam Copeland?!
The guys get together to quickly chat about fast food, Seattle, and Gilmore Girls. Okay, we're kidding. That does happen but they're mostly taking a look at AEW's first ever WrestleDream card!
