Episode 7: The Emotional Roots of Weight, Hormones & My Hot Flash Reflection
This episode is a deep dive into something I genuinely can’t get enough of: the connection between our emotions and our physical bodies—specifically when it comes to extra weight, hormonal shifts, and the bodily conditions we’ve been taught to accept as ‘normal’ and ‘natural’.
What if there’s more to the story?
What if the things we’ve been taught are inevitable—stubborn weight, cellulite, hormonal imbalance, aging in a certain way—are actually reflections pointing us toward something that can be altered?
In this episode, I share the foundation for a new way of looking at the body—not as something working against you, but as an incredibly intelligent system responding to our emotional states and beliefs about ourselves and the human experience. I explore the idea that if something is happening in your body and it bothers you, it’s not just a coincidence —and it’s definitely not fixed.
I also share about my own recent experiences, including sudden weight changes after years of feeling fully aligned in my body, and what happened when I started addressing the emotional undercurrents causing physical changes.
