The reason that "pride goes before destructions" is because when you are engulfed in pride you are not aware of it. "Pride" dresses itself up to look like righteousness. You won't know that you are going the wrong way until destruction shows up...OR until God's Grace & Mercy let you see the destruction they saved you from.
