The Climate Emergency - Embedding carbon literacy in our curricula

This episode features two members of Swansea University’s Climate Emergency Education Working Group: its Chair, Phil Brophy, Higher Education Project Manager, and Dr Penny Neyland, Associate Professor in Biosciences, talking about the University’s pilot programme delivering the Carbon Literacy training developed by Manchester Metropolitan University and embedding the climate emergency into HE curricula.

During the editing process, we looked up some details that we couldn’t remember during recording! Phil makes reference to a climate board game, this is called Keep Cool. Pam referred to a paper about embedding sustainability in accounting curricula, this is a 2015 paper by Kala Saravanamuthu
