The Climate Realist

This week, we’re going to talk about Canadas’ new Clean Electricity Regulations

On August 20 2023, Stephen Guilbault, Canada’s Minister of Environment and Climate Change announced some new clean electricity regulations.

The provinces most impacted are Alberta, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick

We’ll give the Climate Realist reality check on these regulations, and what you can do to help before they are finalized.

Do you need a truck for real work, whether that is farming, logging, trades, or as part of your job? Do you need a truck to go fishing, hunting, camping, or helping friends move things?

If this sounds a bit like you, this episode of the climate realist might be just what you need to save money, keep that truck, and still help fight climate change.

The coal mined in BC and Alberta and shipped out of our ports results in more CO2 being released than all the rest of the province combined.

In the Climate Realist Podcast, we are going to tackle the subject of climate change a little differently. This show is about real actionable things that regular people can do to help with climate change, without totally disrupting their lives. If you are skeptical, please listen to this podcast anyway. While I might not change your mind, I might help you understand what all the fuss is about.
