The Club Paradise Podcast

Listen in as in sit down with a man who does it all! Craig Thorn is an independent hip-hop artist, beer enthusiast, and fellow podcaster.

On this episode we break down all things hip-hop. Craig is of the age where he has seen hip-hop evolve from the 90s into the early 2000's, all the way up to today, which is a big block of time that I've missed out on. Nevertheless, we've made common ground fast and hit it off immediately.

Our conversation not only touches on the likes of Drake and Kanye, but also taps into the music culture of today vs. 20 years ago. How people fan out, appreciate and ingest music has changed rapidly. He was a phenomenal 1st guest for the pod. Enjoy!

My review and experience of attending Drakes "It's All A Blur Tour".

This week were diving in on some of Drake's first and lesser known projects. Their sounds are raw and unrefined, but give us some insight into the mind of a young Aubrey, his early production style and the base of what he would build on for his illustrious career.

Listen in as I talk all things Drake and hip-hop. This is one part musical analysis and one part cultural analysis. The slow, the deep and the bangers. I will break things down, album by album, providing cultural context for what it was like growing up in the rise to stardom of Drake.

We’ll take a look at what he was like before and after his wave of social media greatness. We’ll break down the good and the bad, the highs and the lows, the necessary and unnecessary. Everything from Room for Improvement to Scorpion; this is The Club Paradise Podcast.
