In this first of a two-part conversation, Adam sits down with Andy Mason (St. John's Chelsea, Co-Mission Mission Director) and Jonty Allcock (The Globe Church) to unpack Co-Mission's Vision, Values, and Goals as a church planting network reaching London for Christ.

In part 1, they discuss Vision and Values and why church planting is central to reaching the city, local churches as "embassies of heaven" displaying God's wisdom and the sobering stat that London would need 1,000 new churches just to move from 8.8% to 10% church attendance. They also explore the spiritual temperature of the city, how Co-Mission trains and funds new plants, and then walk through the network's core values:

In this episode of the Co-Mission Podcast, we sit down with Jez Day, curate at St. Peter's Fulham, to talk about the early stages of planting a new church in Acton, Northwest London. Jez shares his journey from politics to full-time ministry, why Acton was chosen, and what it's like committing to something that doesn't exist yet.

Who is Jez Day? Jez Day is a Church of England curate at St. Peter's Fulham and a church planter preparing to start a new church in Acton, West London. He previously trained at St. John's Chelsea, studied at Oak Hill Theological College, and has spent over 15 years in Co-Mission churches. To contact Jez directly: [email protected].

Why is a new church being planted in Acton? Acton, in the London Borough of Ealing, has been identified as having one of the lowest rates of gospel-centred church attendance in London. According to Jez, there is currently no church in the area where someone would be "fed, discipled, and have the hard stuff in the Bible preached to them." Half of Acton's residents were not born in the UK, 20% are Muslim, and the area is home to approximately 100,000 people across diverse communities.

What is the Old Oak Common development? Acton sits near Old Oak Common, one of the largest redevelopment projects in Europe, bringing HS2 and thousands of new housing units to the area over the next 15–20 years, making church planting in Acton strategically timely.

What is Co-Mission? Co-Mission is a London-based church planting network passionate about reaching every area of the city with the gospel. They support planters with prayer, pastoral wisdom, practical resources, and funding. There are approximately 35,000 people within half a mile of any Co-Mission church.

Women's Morning 2026 Talks

Episode 2: Overflowing Hope with Lily Miller

In this second talk from the Co-Mission Women's Morning, Lily Miller explores Romans 5:1-11 and the transformative power of knowing who we are in Christ. Lily unpacks what it means to truly boast in the hope of God's glory—not as a requirement, but as a natural overflow of hearts filled with assurance. Through vivid illustrations and personal reflections, she walks through the profound realities of our identity: justified, at peace with God, standing in grace, and saved through Christ. Lily addresses how Christians can glory even in suffering, anchored by the certainty of God's love poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit. This talk challenges listeners to let go of false narratives and embrace the truth that our hope rests not in what we have in Christ, but in Christ having possession of us.

Women's Morning 2026 Episode 1: Overflowing Hope with Linda Allcock

Join Linda Allcock from the Globe Church in Central London as she explores Paul's letter to the Romans and his passionate mission to share the gospel. In this first of two talks from the Co-Mission Women's Morning, Linda unpacks Romans 1:14-17, examining why Paul was both "eager" and "not ashamed" of the gospel. Through personal stories and biblical insights, she reveals the gospel as a four-times precious gift—powerful enough to transform anyone, from Paul himself to modern seekers. Discover how God's righteousness is revealed, received by faith, and offered righteously through Christ's death and resurrection. This talk challenges listeners to overflow this precious message to those around them, continuing Paul's ambitious vision to reach the world for Christ.
