Welcome to The Coach Ro Podcast: Reclaim Your Roar.
In this very first episode, I'm sitting down to tell you exactly where I've been, why I closed The SHE Collective after six years, and what this new chapter is all about. And it has been messy, so far from linear, and if I'm honest it's been one of the hardest decisions I've ever made.
I talk about hitting burnout this time last year, the panic attack on the motorway that made me draw a line, and the year of therapy, nervous system work and healing that followed. I share what it was like getting an ADHD diagnosis just before turning 40, and how I realised the business had become a mask I was hiding behind. And I take you to the moment it all changed... a sleepless night at Exeter Uni, a podcast that felt like it was talking straight to me, and the drive home where I finally knew what had to happen.
So this is not The SHE Collective, and I want to be really clear about that from the off. Coach Ro is for the woman who has her foundations in place, who wants more for herself and is ready to go and get it. You don't need to have your shit together. You just need to know there's no quick fix, nothing coming to save you, and that you get one life, so why would we play small?
In this episode:
- Why I walked away from a membership I'd poured everything into
- The nervous system work that gave me the foundations to fly
- Taking off the mask and what my ADHD diagnosis made sense of
- Letting go of people pleasing and turning the volume down on other people's opinions
- Why your 40s are a chapter to reclaim, not a slow decline
- What you can expect from these episodes going forward
Episodes drop weekly and run around 20 minutes (this one ran a bit longer and I'm not beating myself up about it). You can also watch along on YouTube if you'd rather feel like you're in the room with me.
Coach Ro launches Jan '27 - stay tuned!
Thank you for being here. Let's begin.
