  • Convert Chats to Sales

Sometimes the easiest method has the most significant effects. When it comes to making sales, this couldn't be more true. You could create a complicated sales funnel to drive new clients to your coaching business. Or you could do it in a natural, organic way through chatting. Online chats are a simple, free way to turn prospects into clients.

In this Clubhouse session, Taki fields questions from the audience regarding online chats with prospective clients. He uses this method himself in his coaching business constantly, and he knows how extremely effective it is. Again, when given a choice, sometimes the simplest is the best.

The questions vary, but they're all centred around converting chats to sales. Want to see how it works? Tune in!

    Questions and Topics Discussed:

    • {00:01:35} When you've created a new program built around the circumstances of the pandemic, should you re-package it now that the world is starting to open up? How do you market the changes by using chats?

    • {00:08:33} What's the difference between webinars and video marketing? Can you sell the same way using chats vs. videos?

  • Simplify to Multiply

Creating and running a coaching business can get complicated. But sometimes it's because you make it that way. It's hard to get a handle on growing something with so many moving parts, but overthinking it just adds to the confusion. When it comes to coaching, you've got to simplify to multiply.

In this Clubhouse session, Taki uses me, Ronsley, as a case study. I tend to complicate things. It's just my personality. So with my new Mastermind Class, it's getting a little tricky to work out the logistics of marketing. Thankfully I have the best coach in the world who shows me how to make things a lot more straightforward.

The questions vary, but they're all centred around simplifying your business model. How do you grow your business in the easiest way possible? Make it accessible, simple to understand and hard to say no to. Simplify to multiply.

    Questions and Topics Discussed:

    • {00:07:56} How do I simplify a new product or coaching session that has so many moving parts?
    • {00:14:18} It's easy to get stuck on the tech aspect of your business. What are some ways to focus on the outcome of these technologies instead?

  • Niching Down

If you're new to the coaching business, making your first $15K can almost seem like an impossible feat. One of the first steps is really nailing down who you plan to help with your coaching. Niching down can be tricky, especially if you're juggling between one or more groups you'd like to help.

With the help of his pal Chris Dufey, Taki fields questions from newbie coaches stuck on choosing their niche. I even get to jump in on a question or two. Most of the time, you already know what your niche is, you just need a little validation from the experts.

The questions vary, but all are centred around the hows, whens and whys of niching down. A lot of the time, new coaches get stuck because they're not being honest with themselves. Who do you want to help and why? You probably already know the answer.

    Questions and Topics Discussed:

    • {00:01:40} When you can't decide between two niches, how do you know which one will work better for your business?
    • {00:10:29} As a brand new coach, where should you focus your time to bring in clients?
    • {00:20:10} How do you differentiate yourself in a crowded marketplace? And how do you build authority in a large niche?

  • Delivery Confidence

On the pathway to make your first $15K a month in the coaching business, snags are bound to come up. But don't let your confidence in your delivery be one. In this Clubhouse session, Taki pulls some ninja moves on the newbie couches in the room.

Sometimes just a small tweak in perception is all it takes to dig yourself out of a rut. And my goodness, does Taki come through with the perception tweaks. He breaks down the three things preventing you from making it to that magic number. And at the top of the list is delivery confidence.

The questions vary, but all are centred around issues involving delivery and the sales process. Selling yourself can be tricky, so sometimes you need to simplify your thinking. If you know you have something to offer potential clients, own it. If you believe in your product and services, so will everyone else.

    Questions and Topics Discussed:

    • {00:05:39} When there are different categories to your niche, are you leaving people out if you only specialise in one?
    • {00:09:45} How do you use a launch model?
    • {00:14:33} How do you adjust your marketing to change your potential client's gut reaction to spending money on themselves?

  • Funnel Jams

A funnel is a pathway for potential clients and customers to find your product and service and get them ready to buy it. So how do you create your funnels and how do you know which ones to focus on? In this Clubhouse session, Taki fields questions on all things funnels.  And he gets a little help from his friends, Chris Dufey and Martha Krejci.

Whether you do one-on-one calls or group chats, funnels are a way to draw people in and let them get to know you and your business. But it can be tricky to know which ones are working and which ones to focus on.

The questions vary, but all are centered around funnels and how to use them. People with all sorts of business goals benefit from strategic funnels. So Taki and his fellow friend coaches break down the basics of funnels. The bottom line is do what works, and follow through.

    Questions and Topics Discussed:

    • {00:14:18} If you're more comfortable on the phone, should you just stick to that? Or should you branch out to chatting platforms?
    • {00:22:50} When you're new and have funnels spread out everywhere, how do you know where to focus?
    • {00:25:22} For someone with more than one niche, how do you know which one to double down on?

  • Pricing 101

Pricing is something even the most experienced coach gets hung up on. How do you know how to price your services? In this Clubhouse session, Taki fields questions from business owners about various pricing conundrums. And he gets a little help from his friends,Chris Dufey and Martha Krejci.

Whether you offer membership services or one-time product purchases, it can be hard to know what pricing scale will work. You don't want to overcharge and turn off potential long term clients. But you also don't want to undercharge and set yourself up to be undervalued.

The questions vary, but they're all centred around how to price your services. It's not just about coaching services, either. Listeners from all sorts of business categories all seem to struggle with the same question: How in the world do I set my prices? The bottom line is, don't undersell your value.

    Questions and Topics Discussed:

    • {00:09:23} Do you have any advice for non-coaching businesses that only offer membership pricing? How do you raise your prices without alienating your existing members?
    • {00:17:50} Where do you start when it comes to setting a price point?

  • Payment Structures & Niches

One year into the most drastic worldwide change in business dealings in history, and we're all still trying to adjust. In this Clubhouse session, Taki Moore and Dean Jackson field questions regarding collective issues coaches face in today's world. Pivoting to adapt to consumer behaviour is hard to navigate, especially when you're nervous about losing your existing clients. Taki gives some great pointers on how to adjust your payment structure to suit your client's reservations while not losing any revenue for your business. With the help of Dean, Taki also explores the topic of doubling down your niche. This one gets a little tricky, so I also throw my two cents in, for what it's worth. This episode is a great intro into the kind of complicated topics Taki can dive into and dissect, for all our benefit.

    Questions and Topics Discussed:

    • [01:14] Should you adjust your product offerings or stagger payments when you hit a bump in the road?
    • [08:30] Will increasing your prices if a client wants to continue your services past your agreed-upon timeline affect your bottom line?
    • [09:50]  Are evergreen products always a priority? What's the best membership option? Is charging monthly better than charging yearly?
    • [14:10] As a Black entrepreneur, should you cater more specifically to Black executives? What's the downside of doubling down on your niche?
    • [23:24] How can you use Clubhouse in your business? What's the protocol for recording Clubhouse sessions?
