Most people think of gaslighting as something toxic that one person does to another, and I’ve definitely been on the receiving end of that before. But the biggest realization I had? I was still gaslighting myself.

It’s one thing to cut off people who undermine your reality. But what happens when the gaslighting is coming from inside your own head?
I used to call it negative self-talk, but it’s deeper than that. It’s self-doubt, second-guessing, minimizing your own experiences, and talking yourself out of what you know to be true.

And that stops now.

This episode is your reminder to call it out for what it is and start backing yourself the same way you expect the people closest to you to do. Because if you don’t trust yourself, how can you expect others to?
