This is what you need to know about NLP. 🧠🗓 I first discovered neuro-linguistic programming at 24 years of age when I had a fashion business. (Omg I cannot believe this was almost 10 years ago 🤯) I feel blessed to have found it so young as it truly has shaped my life. (I was a bit of a dick before that 🫢) On the outside looking in, the business appeared to be quite successful, I had been invited to go on dragons den. I was winning business awards and was regularly featured in the magazines and newspapers as a successful business woman. On the inside however things felt very different and the business was so hard and I was exhausted. I had begun listening to the Tony Robbins Unlimited Power CD on repeat in my car and one day the words Neuro Linguistic Programming rang in my ears. I had listened to the CD for about a year, and this seemed like the first time I had heard it. I knew this was something I had to act on and decided I was going to find a course. Within 6 months I was a fully qualified NLP practitioner, NLP Coach & Time Line Therapist. I loved it so much that I committed to training to the highest standard possible and within a few years I began training other women in NLP. So, I know a bit about NLP and would love to share with you a few things that I believe everyone needs to know about NLP! 1. NLP is the most amazing thing you'll ever learn 2. NLP was created in the 70's by 2 American guys 3. NLP has had many additions and contributions since it was created 4. Everyone who teaches NLP properly and accredits their course has to teach the same content

Why life is like a garden path and how it relates to NLP

▶️ We are all heading in some kind of direction Even if we are not intentional about the direction we are heading in, we are still walking a path. Life takes us down windy paths, down straight paths and we are always moving in some direction.

▶️ There will be setbacks along the way In life whether we are intentional or not there will be setbacks along the way and things that stop us, hold us back in some ways and limit us and our potential.

▶️ We can use NLP tools to support us to clear the way When we experience challenges along the way. Gates along the garden path, leaves that fall on and need sweeping away to allow us to continue to walk.

We can use the NLP tools to support ourselves to keep clearing the way for us to continue walking.
