In today’s episode, I chat to entrepreneur, coach, facilitator, speaker, author and adventurer Travis Gale.
At the age of 17 Travis and a friend Steve Bonaconsa embarked on an incredible and ambitious cycle tour around the world, with the aim of raising R1 Million for children living with and effected by HIV/AIDS in Kwa-Zulu Natal. 16 000 kilometres later, across four continents, through 16 countries, Trav and Steve completed their trip having raised R1.7 million for their cause. This adventure and the lessons learnt from this, has now been documented in Trav’s first book called The Middle.
We chat about ‘The Middle’ and some key learnings from that incredible journey; we talk about the idea of endurance, about the importance of connection with others, and the power of stories.
