The IndyCar Championship was clinched with one race to go, something that had not been done since 2007.  For the first time in F1’s history, 10 consecutive Grand Prix have been won by the same driver…and RFK and 23XI had solid showings in the first race of the NASCAR Playoffs.

Lots of things happening in the world of motorsport this past weekend, both on and off the track. Max is chasing another new record every weekend and a lot of new faces at the top of the leaderboard in NASCAR. It's a question that has been around since the dinosaur ages...is good racing alone enough to satisfy the modern-day human attention span or does racing need additional injections of drama to help boost the level of overall entertainment? A relatively “quiet” weekend with only NASCAR and IndyCar in action.  Both produced some good racing at times, but the bigger question was, who is/are the transcending personalities that will pull professional motorsports back into the spotlight here in the US?  Thanks for listening and have a great day!

Another Max win at the British Grand Prix in front of 450K weekend fans and NASCAR finds the rain again in Atlanta (after some good racing).  IMSA and WEC produce some great racing in all classes, but the story of the weekend came from the Yellow Corvettes as they won the race in Canada and clinched a championship in Italy.
