Let's work on getting to a space where you can extend your parent... [the parent who hurt you, the parent who left your expectations unmet] ...let's extend that parent some grace.

If we are all human and we are all imperfect, we ALL will fail to treat some person we meet exactly how they want to be treated.

This means at some point in your life, you will have an unmet expectation regarding your parent. And likewise, your parent will have an unmet expectation regarding you.

Let's talk about it so we can start healing and accepting parts of ourselves that we've been ignoring. It'll help you live your life with more self-love.
