We are very pleased to share with you this interview with legendary Color Computer game designer Rick Adams. Rick is best known for two Color Computer games; the first, is Temple of ROM, a 4-directional scrolling adventure/arcade game, and the second, is Shanghai, a Mahjong game for the Tandy Color Computer 3, produced by Activision and sold to Tandy. Both were released as ROM cartridges.
These weren't the only two projects Rick was involved with during the hay day of the CoCo, we'll hear about more in this interview.
Check out Rick's current projects on his YouTube channel:

L. Curtis Boyle is the host of the Color Computer Games List website, a great resource btw, and one of the co-developers of the NitrOS9 operating system for the CoCo.
Curtis and I met through comments he would leave on my YouTube CoCo gameplay videos, which led me to his web site, which led to this, my first interview with a member of the Color Computer community. Curtis has become an integral part of what I do on YouTube, and has assisted me with many game play videos, as well as help implement our now legendary lineup of interviews with Color Computer developers.
The original interview that aired on YouTube was edited to remove almost 10 minutes of content, so here, as a CoCoTALK! Exclusive, you’ll hear the original un-edited interview, in it’s entirety.

Let’s talk CoCoFEST!
Welcome to the pilot episode of CoCoTALK! The nation's leading live talk show featuring the Tandy Color Computer! CoCoTALK! started as a spontaneous live stream with members of the Color Computer community talking about our excitement and anticipation for the 27th Annual "Last" Chicago CoCoFEST! This is an audio replay of that live stream that originally aired March 19, 2017.
On the show:
CoCoTALK! is a weekly live stream on YouTube which is a combination Skype call and live text chat, and is an interactive show dedicated to the Tandy/Radio Shack TRS-80 Color Computer, aka the "CoCo"

Welcome to CoCoTALK!
The nation’s leading weekly talk show featuring the Tandy Color Computer!
CoCoTALK! Is a weekly live stream on YouTube and is a combination Skype call and live chat program, with a rotating cast of members of the Color Computer/Retro computing community.
The show was inspired by the CoCo Crew Podcast, our love for the Color Computer, and our anticipation of the 27th Annual “Last” Chicago CoCoFEST! Which took place in April of 2017.
The Show ran for 5 weeks leading up to CoCoFEST! CoCoFEST was also live streamed, and we had a wrap up show the week after. I didn’t think the show would keep the same momentum after CoCoFEST! But as I write this, we’ve been going 20 weeks strong, the shows get longer and better, and the viewership continues to grow.
Hearing how good the CoCo Crew Podcast does in audio format with over 1,000 downloads each month, we’ve decided to convert previous episodes into podcasts to extend the program to a new audience of listeners, who we hope, will also become viewers, the charm and appeal of CoCoTALK! Is that it’s a live program that you can join via Skype or text chat.
Look for audio replays of each episode here in podcast format, and long live the CoCo!
