It's so nice to have friends & loved ones who like to share some of their experiences with you. But some would prefer to keep their stories to themselves. Overall life was meant to be shared with others, but if you want to keep to yourself just know that some people surrounding you may think of you as selfish.

Today we had the privilege of speaking with Destiny DMC, a local artist & chef whose passion and energy carries like the wind. On today's show, we asked Destiny to discuss one of her most recent Instagram posts that she shared based on a prior conversation.

People are quick to say, "let me know if you need something," or, "I'll be there for you, just hit me up!" But how many of them actually mean it? If you take a good look, from the lows to the highs, you will notice that this happens everywhere -- ranging from the news to your so-called friends. The truth is that not a lot of people really care about us enough to follow through.

Most of us, at some point in time, will become addicted to something (i.e., cell phones or television). The craving that comes over us can be so strong at times and most of us don't see the damage it causes in our lives. They say the first step is admitting the problem, but I think we should just say goodbye to those things that hold us down.

Yeah, you're living your life and hanging with some friends. When it's time, you go to work. Until the weekend comes. At which point you spend most of what you've earned, and you find yourself back where you started. After a while, you notice that you're in this life-loop, or asleep at the wheel. It's time that we all wake up to realize that there is so much more.

It is better to give than to receive, as I'm sure we've always been taught. Why is it that we now live in a world that prefers to take more from others than give? Are you a giver? Or a taker? In this episode we discuss both sides.

It is true that anger is an emotion that we all experience. But we don't all express it in the same way. Most of the things that tend to make us angry are small and irrelevant. We don't typically see that until time passes. In the end, you find yourself holding on to that anger or finding forgiveness.

There's nothing like having a little game play in your down time. You can drive cars off-road, shoot someone in the head, or bring forth the collapse of an empire. The best part about it is that no one actually gets hurt... unless you can't handle failure.
