Trevor Millar is the founder of AMBIO Life Sciences @ambiolifesciences one of the most reputable Ibogaine clinics in the world. In this conversation we go deep on how psychedelic therapy and Christian faith intersect — and why the two aren't as opposed as most believers assume.Trevor shares the personal story behind the work: a liberal-church upbringing, a stretch of atheism, the Dale Carnegie book that changed everything, and the 5-MeO-DMT experience he describes as the best news a human being could hear. We talk about the "God-sized hole" in recovery, what it means that we are all one thing, and the two commandments he treats as an operating system for life.We also get practical about the clinic itself — why Ambio treats people in cohorts instead of solo sessions, why Ibogaine is given at night, what the "gray day" is, and how a self-described hippie ended up building a bridge between the psychedelic world and Christian spirituality while treating US Special Forces veterans and first responders. If you've stayed away from this world because it felt too "woo-woo," this one's for you.Disclaimer: This is a personal conversation about faith and recovery, not medical advice. Ibogaine carries real cardiac risks and is illegal in many places — talk to a qualified professional before pursuing any treatment.Chapter:0:00 The Sphere, the Grateful Dead & how we connected2:55 An LSD journey, reconnecting with Christ4:18 Tucker Max: a lifelong atheist changes his mind6:35 "I walked in an atheist, now I know there's a God"7:50 Growing up in Canada's most liberal church11:45 The Dale Carnegie book that changed everything14:14 The Science of Getting Rich & the "thinking substance"15:34 Searching for what every religion has in common17:41 Why Jesus was one of history's biggest badasses22:09 We are all one thing — the rose analogy23:39 The two commandments as an operating system26:17 First 5-MeO-DMT experience: the "God particle"28:10 The Urban Shaman & a synchronistic encounter31:38 Awareness of every cell — and the whole universe34:55 "This is your heritage" — heaven without the substance38:37 Individual With a Cause & the perfection of creation43:41 Vancouver's Downtown Eastside47:47 How Ibogaine came onto the radar52:04 The imam, oxycontin & a 2 a.m. Law & Order episode56:09 Encounters with Jesus in the medicine59:30 Money, the law of attraction & not losing your soul66:13 Becoming "Big Ibogaine" — bootstrapping Ambio70:41 "By their fruits shall ye know them"72:44 Why Ambio treats people in cohorts77:13 Why Ibogaine is given at night & the "gray day"81:12 Black Rifle Coffee of psychedelics & goodbye
