Chef Fresh Roberson is a community-loving, Unapologetically Fat, Black, genderqueer, working class dyke. Born and raised in eastern North Carolina, Fresh is a transplant to the Midwest now calling Chicago home. An engineering and physics nerd turned farming chef, she has professionally studied cooking in Thailand and the US.

Fresh is the founder of Fresher Together, Director of Chicago Bread Club, and proud board member of Howard Brown Health and Transformative Justice Law Project. Fresher Together is a collaborative food & farming project for healing, economic development, training and retreat. Fresh strives to make nutritious nourishing food accessible to all and is committed to building access, pleasure and accessible quality affirming health care for all centering BIPOC, queer, GNC, trans*, and fat folks.
