THE COLLECTIVE OPINION — EPISODE 10
This episode covers a little bit of everything — from the way we were raised to how kids are growing up today, changing parenting styles, youth sports, relationships, LA culture, and the conversations happening around the WNBA.
We get into whether kids today are missing out on the kind of childhood we had — playing outside until the streetlights came on, having real responsibilities at home, and growing up without having technology at our fingertips 24/7.
Then we get into parenting. Are parents today trying too hard to be their children's friends? Have we become too soft with our kids, or have we simply learned better ways to raise them?
Youth sports also gets put under the microscope. With money, incentives, contracts, competition, and clout becoming part of the conversation, has youth sports become more complicated than it needs to be?
And when it comes to relationships, does having a child with someone make you stay even when you know they're the wrong person for you? What happens when the relationship ends but you still love the child?
Plus, what's really going on with LA? Has the city lost its culture, nightlife, and sense of fun — or are we just looking at it differently now?
And we get into the growing conversation surrounding transgender athletes and the WNBA, including where the controversy came from and whether the discussion is primarily about sports or connected to a larger cultural debate.
Different generations. Different experiences. Different opinions.

Can a cheater really change, or is cheating a character trait that never goes away?
In Episode 4 of The Collective Opinion, the panel dives into one of the most debated relationship topics: cheating. We break down what actually counts as cheating, why people step outside of their relationships, and whether trust can ever truly be rebuilt after betrayal.
This conversation goes beyond physical infidelity. We discuss emotional cheating, flirting, loyalty, accountability, and the difficult choices friends face when they know someone is being unfaithful.
In this episode, we discuss:
* What is considered cheating?
* Emotional cheating vs. physical cheating.
* Why do people cheat in the first place?
* Do people really think they’ll get away with cheating?
* If your friend is cheating, should you tell your partner?
* Can trust ever be fully restored after infidelity?
* Is “once a cheater, always a cheater” actually true?

STOP WITH THE LABELS | The Collective Opinion Podcast
Why are people so quick to put labels on others? In this episode of The Collective Opinion, we dive into the assumptions, stereotypes, and expectations that come with labels—especially within the LGBTQ+ community. What happens when the person you love can no longer contribute the way they used to?
Whether it’s money, bills, household responsibilities, emotional support, or life circumstances, every relationship eventually faces seasons where one partner may have to carry more than the other. The real question is: would you stay, or would that change everything?
In this episode of The Collective Opinion, the panel dives into the realities of partnership, financial expectations, loyalty, gender roles, sacrifice, and what it truly means to build a life with someone. Is love enough when one person can’t contribute equally? Should relationships always be 50/50? Or is that expectation setting couples up for disappointment?
Join the conversation as we share personal opinions, challenge common relationship beliefs, and discuss where support ends and resentment begins.
Discussion Topics:
* Is a relationship ever truly 50/50?
* Does financial contribution equal value?
* What happens when one person carries most of the load?
* Are expectations different for men and women?
