Political commentator, author, and host of MSNBC’s Emmy Award-winning The Rachel Maddow Show, Maddow gave her view on what she thinks the public can expect from President Trump’s time in office and the political climate in general. Maddow also gave her advice for how Democrats and those opposed to the current administration should proceed to enact change.

As a guest of Smith College’s Poetry Center, prized American poet Gerald Stern read from a collection of works that included poems from: “American Sonnets”, “Last Blue: Poems”, and “Galaxy Love”, which will be released in early 2017.
