Now that was a weekend of match-ups, right? A solid Week 4 slate on paper turned into an even better one on the field, with nail-biting close games from the country's top teams -- Oregon and Florida State, and even Bama and Oklahoma to a degree -- and a marquee upset, thanks to Mississippi State.

So how does one make sense of all the bloodshed? Why, with The College Football Podcast Week 4 recap, of course.

Week 4 is upon us, and with it the glory of conference play; for the most part, anyway. The boys preview that and more, with a focus on the rather impressive highlights -- Clemson-Florida State, Auburn-Kansas State, Oklahoma-West Virginia, and the like.

College football's second week in the books, and the season already has its signature playoff-impacting win, Oregon having knocked off Michigan State in a battle of top 10 teams.

In celebration, the boys recap the week that was, from that Oregon-Michigan State clash of the titans to the week's big upsets -- Va Tech over Ohio State, USC over Stanford -- and everything in between.
