In this episode I catch up with the very colourful Calamity Tash from Adelaide. Tash gave away alcohol at the age of 25 years old, after years of habitual serious bingeing (to the point of alcohol poisoning), blackouts, and using alcohol as a coping mechanism. Her drinking spiralled out of control, starting her day with wine, drinking in her lunch breaks and then continuing after work. Luckily, she started dating someone who didn't drink and she realised that life without alcohol is a possibility. Tash has been sober for over 4 years now, she surrounds herself with people who keep her accountable in sobriety and her work with disengaged, queer and neuro-diverse youths.
