On Jan. 20, 2025, Donald Trump made history for being the first president to serve non-consecutive terms since Grover Cleveland was inaugurated for the second time in 1893. Trump is also the first president to be convicted of a felony. The Chronicle talked to several Trump supporters who traveled from outside the state and country to witness the historic event in Washington D.C. and celebrate the occasion.

After the official swearing-in was moved indoors, tens of thousands of Trump supporters lined up at the Capital One Arena to watch a live-stream of the ceremony, held at the Capitol Rotunda. The Chronicle talked to people who want the new president to fix the economy, cut down on criminal gangs and save U.S. jobs.

 Columbia’s Hip-Hop Club introduces “The Bridge” a week-long celebration exploring Chicago’s dynamic hip-hop scene by connecting students and local talent and building bridges through beats in a week full of featured interactive events. 

This week on Three C’s: The college will present the Board of Trustees with the program overhaul on Monday, Dec. 16, Created to Achieve Success aims to help students with the cost of textbooks, and important dates to know for the end of the semester.
