The Combative Canuck Podcast

Scott is a security professional with over 20 years of experience interacting with the public, as well as a martial artist for over 2 decades with a 4th degree black belt in American Kenpo Karate.  He's a former PPCT (now Threat Pattern Recognition) Instructor as well as a current Urban Defensive Tactics Instructor in Metropolitan Sarnia, Ontario.

We're always joking around, so I fully expected this podcast to have way less wisdom, way more dirty jokes, and was trying for fewer expletives.  2 outta 3 ain't bad...

We talk fatherhood, fight stories, communication & listening skills - as well compare skipping ropes and chat about life under COVID-19.

Kelly Sayre teaches situational awareness to women so they have the confidence to move forward and live life on their own terms. Her teaching is offered through speaking engagements, classes, one-on-one consultations and online training programs.

Just because it’s always been done a certain way, doesn’t make it right. For years, the world of self-defence has been taught from a man’s point of view. What if there’s a better way? A viewpoint that takes into consideration the way women see the world and takes their natural strengths in to account? That's where Kelly comes in - her company is a disruptor of the self-defence industry and challenges the status quo.

1 bottle of bourbon.

2 bald dudes.

3 Patrick Swayze references.

A f*cking goldmine of information from my esteemed guest.

This podcast is a MUST LISTEN for security and law enforcement professionals - and anyone else who wants to be better at life....and who don't mind words getting progressively slurrier as the bourbon gets emptier.
