This week's guest is Katya Veleva who talks about her experience growing up in Eastern Europe and how different that was from her current reality. Much changed when Katya moved to London England where she felt free to explore her true self and break all kinds of rules, including in the dating world. She found enormous acceptance while playing Quidditch helped her grow in acceptance and ultimately come out about her sexuality. Katya’s visits back home are a stark contrast to her current reality, but she seeks to maintain relationships even when they’re hard. Katya shares a really tender next chapter of her coming out story which she is stepping into bravely.
