I start this return episode by giving what I think is one of my best suggestions ever to fix our broken country. I explain, as best as I can, the reason I stopped podcasting and how it was making me feel. I use this explanation and opportunity to vent some frustration at the current political class who I believe are putting their own ambitions ahead of the needs of the people. I apologize for all the yelling in this episode, but I am truly baffled at why so many people in our news media and government are asking the same questions. Why Iran? Why Now? In this episode I answer those questions with clips and evidence to prove all the information necessary has been out there for all to see. Some people may agree with the war in Iran, some people may disagree with the war in Iran, but no one should pretend this was done on a whim for political purposes. I play a clip from a former Israeli prime minister to back that point up. He gives the answer I sometimes wish politicians in the United States could give. An honest one.

Like most people I was not prepared for the breaking news today. As our men and the women in the military put themselves in harms way, I suggest prayers and a pause on divisive language with regards to the Iran war. I guess I have finally snapped and use this episode to vent my frustration at people in the country who are angry, but don't channel that anger into positive results. Getting angry at one another, losing focus, and shutting down civil discourse is exactly what anti-democratic grifters want the population to do. I question why we make it so easy for them. Problem solvers start by identifying the problem then move on to solutions. What happens when all your problem solvers are only good at identifying the problem? Attorney General Pam Bondi had a fiery and confrontational hearing with the Judiciary Commitee in congress this week. It may have made for great TV, but it did nothing to bring justice or closure for the victims of Jeffery Epstein. I discuss some of the latest names to be exposed in the Epstein files, and play clips from the hearing. I miss the good old days when the big controversy was which player got arrested during Super Bowl week. I give my predictions on the game, as well as the coverage to follow. I make the case that the same people covering a halftime show at a Super Bowl like it's a defining moment in American history, are the same people who have led us astray about so many things so many times. I believe we will look back at this time in our countries history as either one of the worst or as historially significant for positive change. Which way it goes will depend on leadership that finds their voices of reason. Ghandi, Lincoln, Mandela, MLK, Susan B. Anthony. What they all had in common is they all wanted justice. Justice for people they knew deserved it, but it did not come with a desire for the detruction of the other side. If we want the deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti to not be in vain, the true recalibration in the country needs to be away from hateful demonizing and back to objective problem solving. Partial shutdowns, abolishing ICE, defunding DHS, ICE raids targeting people with no pending criminal charges all will just ensure the chaos continues.
