The Olde Cassettes

I guess I should have known that a cassette program that came out over 20 years ago might have problems associated with it.

I was excited to begin listening to one of my favorite speakers deliver a program released many years ago, but about 60 seconds into the program, I noticed his words became slower then resumed normal speed, then slowed down again.

I can only assume that the years have not been kind to these cassettes, that some parts of the tape must have stretched a bit.

I was told they were in good condition, and, I guess if you can handle the constant changes in tape speed and voice quality, then they are in good shape. In my opinion, they aren't in good shape and I regret having spent the money to purchase them.
