The Conjuring 3, so much conjuring! Please go back and listen to our episodes on the first two Conjuring films if you haven’t already. This is released as a double episode with The Conjuring 2, and so listening to that first will be helpful.
Sadly, we also ask you to prepare yourselves to be disillusioned with Wan and the Conjuring-verse. Under scrutiny, his films are hyper-conservative ideological travesties cloaked in wonderfully entertaining, well-crafted, scares. This is particularly painful for us as we recognize Wan’s filmmaking and myth-building talent. Sadly this talent is foisted into pushing super toxic ideologies especially in the case of the Conjuring-verse. The Conjuring train just keeps on wrecking and we are here to discuss it!
