Have you ever heard the saying, "It's better late than never"?
While it's true that it's never too late to make a change, it's always better to realize mistakes before regret sets in. That's why it's important to say, especially as you pursue a happier marriage, that "It's better to realize now than regret it later."
As imperfect humans, we all make mistakes.
In marriage, when two imperfect humans come together, the tendency to make mistakes is inevitable. But the good news is that these mistakes are preventable.
By realizing them before they cause regret, we can take steps to change our actions and avoid making the same mistakes again.
The big question is, what are those mistakes that we haven't yet realized?
In this episode, we will explore common mistakes that couples make about the future without realizing it, and offer solutions for how to prevent them.
As always, we encourage you to share this episode with other couples and to leave a rating and review on the platform where you listen to the show.

Rules are an important part of any relationship, and this is especially true in the context of a marriage.
In a marriage, rules serve as protection and guideposts for a happy and lasting relationship.
By following these rules and putting in the effort to make your marriage a priority, you can create a strong and lasting relationship that brings you both joy and fulfillment. It is important for each couple to identify the rules that work best for them and to continually communicate and adjust as needed.
In this episode, you'll discover eleven rules that will create an environment for happier marriages. The fifth rules might surprised you as most couples would choose this one as the most important. I would love to hear your thoughts and see if you agree or not agree.
Also, please share which you would rate as your number one rule. You'll also hear what the host - Kingsley Grant - chose as his.

What's Love Got to Do with having a Happier Marriage? Is it necessary? Does it make a difference?
Whatever we are doing, it’s always easier to work on something new if there is an example in front of us that we can follow.
Married couples who have successful marriages that we can emulate and be mentored by make a world of a difference. It could mean the difference between a happier marriage and an unhappy one.
Whether you are a newly married couple or have been married for years, you can benefit from other couples' experiences that have succeeded in their marriage.
But it takes humility to ask for help and commitment to do what is necessary to make the marriage work. Putting God at the center and loving your spouse as he loves you, is a recipe for a happier marriage.
In this episode, you will hear the continuation of the interview of our guests - Yannick & Eddie - discussing their real-life experiences in their quest to have a happier marriage.
You will also hear how each of them made allowances for the other and made the necessary adjustments to their marriage.
But for all this to make sense, you MUST listen to episode 24, where they did Part 1.

What's Love Got to Do with It (Tina Turner, 1993)
In your opinion, what is love, and how does it work?
Humans have different perspectives when it comes to explaining what love is. Some people change their view on love as they grow older and their experiences redefine love.
Others simply have no clue what love is. They are confused. Is it any wonder many marriages never experience true happiness when love cannot be defined?
The way love is shown from one spouse to another is different. But here is the fact: Love is necessary for lasting and happier marriages.
In this episode, you’ll hear the real-life experiences of our guest couple, Yannick and Eddie Jackson, on the role love has played in their marriage for the past 16 + years.
You might relate to their challenges and coping mechanisms as husband and wife. Also, there is a part 2 for this exciting interview so stay tuned!

Rescue Your Marriage Now!
I know you are familiar with the acronym "ASAP," which means As soon as possible. When someone suggests you do something ASAP, you tend to feel pressured and the need to respond almost right away. Right?
It's the same as marriage, and we cannot deny that sometimes there's an urgency to act quickly to solve problems and in some cases, rescue your relationship. You don't want to wait. It could easily get worse.
You know, most couples wait until the last moment, until things are so bad, that's when they decide to go for counseling. That's not a recommended time.
The moment you begin to see things going awry where you're unable to work through some of your differences, you want to get help. Don't wait until one conflict grows into something that is out of control.
Even though in rare cases, some marriages have been turned around from the precipice of disaster, it is not the norm. Your marriage may not survive such. Don't take chances.
But even if your marriage is questionable right now, it may require some heavy lifting on your part, but it's possible for you to turn that marriage around.
In this episode, you'll discover five strategies to rescue your marriage starting today. These strategies are outlined in sequential order and are linked. Listen and reflect on which one of these you need to work on starting today!

Your wife wants these needs met by you!
Yes, you have needs as well but meeting the needs of your wife will have significant ROI (return on investments). Don't believe me, try these and see what happen. You'll thank me later.
In the previous podcast episode, the focus was on what it is you as a husband need most from your wife, but here we're unpacking what she needs most from you. It is important to differientiate between needs and wants which you'll hear mention in this episode.
God created your wife to basically be a support for you, but also the need for her to feel valued in what she does and who she is.
That is the general notion for a marriage to grow. But how do you know what those needs are so that you can almost be guaranteed to have a happier and healthier marriage? The obvious answer would be to ask her or even better yet, listen to her.
In this episode, you will learn the three needs of your wife that when met, will almost always guarantee a happier marriage. These are not in any particular order. You can place them in any order you want as long as you make the effort to meet them.

More than love!
This is hard for you when you have so much love to give. And the person to whom you want to give it - your husband - seems to not care for it. You're now hurt and disappointed.
You may have heard that “Love is the key to everything”, which sounds good on the surface because we all want and need to be loved, right?
But love alone is not enough especially when it comes to your husband. There is something he needs more. So, what could that be?
You might be surprised or already know this but haven’t yet realized that giving your husband this one thing above everything else, would more than likely give you the kind of marriage and home you so desire.
In this episode, you will discover the one thing your husband needs above everything else that will give you the marriage and home you so long for and deserve.
Wants and needs among relationships are tricky but you will be guided to spot them as you listen to this podcast. I hope this will shed some light on you as a couple.

A happier marriage that lasts.
No longer possible?
Is that your belief? How did you come to this conclusion?
Yes, many marriages are not last "until death do us part" anymore. This is so unfortunate. It's become the norm.
What if your marriage could be the exception? Not only lasts but also be happier.
If it is going to be so, there are a few things that you must do differently than what most couples are doing. These "things" are called habits. There are 5 that, when practiced, will almost certainly lead to a happier and lasting marriage.
In this episode, you will discover the secret habits to your happier marriage.. Be open as you listen. Experiment with one or more of them (really, you need to do all of them) but it's better to start with one or two and make it into a habit.

How is it possible that you can have a happier marriage if you feel like you've tried everything and your spouse isn't making any effort to do the same?
Perhaps, you feel like giving up because of exhaustion, painful experiences, or simply discouragement.
The responsibility for a happier marriage/life/home is mutual. Both spouses are responsible. Because the needs are different, it is crucial that each do their part to meet the needs of the other.
In this episode, you will be reminded of the Top Four Needs of a Wife. The fourth one could be surprising, a little bit tricky, and maybe controversial. But listen with an open mind all the way through before you cast judgment.

Keep it nurtured!
To make a plant, strong, you have to water and nurture it frequently. Without it, the plant wilts and will eventually die.
Of course, you don’t let that happen. It’s also true for relationships. It is not enough to develop a deep connection with your spouse at the beginning of your marriage and do nothing more about it. No, you have to "water" and "nurture" it as well.
In this episode, you will hear numerous ways in which you and your spouse can deepen your connection to each other. You may be surprised that habits are necessary for a deeper connection with your spouse.
As you listen, take notes as to what you, not your spouse, need to do in nurturing your relationship.
