We hear the song, “Oh Come, All Ye Faithful,” every year at Christmastime. There is a beautiful and imploring line in this song that instructs us to “come, let us adore Him.”

What does it mean to “adore” the Lord?

This Christmas Sunday, we explore what that means and answer the question of why we should.

When you hear the words “the glory of God,” what do you think of? It might be difficult to describe the glory of God, but when you experience it, you definitely know it. Join us as we will attempt to answer questions like:

What is the glory of God?
Why is it important?
What’s the difference between His glory and His presence?
How can I experience the glory of God in my life?

The Bible makes it clear that one of the most important things to God is for us to seek Him. When we truly seek God, we experience His presence, which gives us blessings of all kinds: joy, peace, rest, comfort, encouragement, strength! Discover four steps on how to experience the presence of the Lord on a daily basis.

Can we experience the presence of the Lord on a daily basis? We believe Scripture is clear that we can, and those who do get rewarded. Hebrews 11:6 says, “…for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.” Join us as we begin a new sermon series, Seeking His Presence.

Paul wrote to the churches in Thessaloniki, “in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.” We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends. We also hope you’ll join us as we continue our current sermon series, The Will of God for You.

In Romans 8:27-28 we read, “Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Join us Sunday as we continue our latest sermon series, The Will of God for You.

As believers, our faith will increase when we understand and know the will of God. However, confusion exists with many in the body of Christ concerning how to know His will for our lives. An unbiblical view of the will of God can cause those whose hearts are sensitive to spiritual things unnecessary heartburn, especially when making important decisions such as their vocation, marriage, education, and ministry.

We need to keep things in perspective: you may have some areas in which you still struggle and need to improve; we all do! However, being down on yourself is not going to help you do better! Join us as we look at the words of the prophet Jeremiah and what lessons and encouragements we can glean to grow.

Last week we began a new series on the biblical principle of God being the Potter, we are the clay, and what that really means for us. This week, we continue to talk about being shaped by the Potter unto full growth. We must accept our responsibility to grow!
